Aquatics

Stillwater is home to the municipal swimming pool, which is operated by the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA), and two splash pads.

Municipal Swimming Pool

Located at Couch Park, the Municipal Pool opens for the summer season in late May and closes early August. The facility, with its 400,000-gallon pool, features six 50-meter lanes, two slides, a separate, gated wading pool for younger children and concession with a shaded seating area.

The YMCA of Greater Oklahoma will manage the Municipal Pool for the summer. The YMCA is responsible for the schedule and hours of operation, rates and rentals, and the Learn to Swim Program.

Splash Pads

The splash pads in Stillwater offer fun-filled water play areas for kids on a hot day. The shaded seating areas provide a relaxing place for parents to monitor their children in a kid-friendly environment.

Locations

The City of Stillwater has two splash pads. One is located at Boomer Lake Park and the other is located at Southern Woods Park.

Rules

  • Adult supervision is required
  • Footwear is recommended
  • Skateboards, bicycles, scooters, rollerblades & pets are prohibited
  • Water balloons are prohibited
  • Glass containers are prohibited
  • Infants/toddlers must wear swim diapers
